MVXMILLI is the pop rapper, songwriter and producer persona of gifted Minneapolis-born, Los Angeles resident Max Fink (who happens to be the son of legendary Prince & The Revolution keyboardist and three-time Grammy winner, Dr. Fink.)

MVXMILLI’s brand of pop/rap is heavily influenced by the elements of a contemporary LA lifestyle. The clubs and parties, the fast cars and beautiful people, the vibrant fashion and arts scenes all dovetail into MVXMILLI beats, grooves and raps.

MVXMILLI’s 2019 debut single, “Can’t Catch Me” was followed by three more singles that year, “Lost Eyes”, “Might Drown” and “Nightrider”. 2020 saw the artist release the singles “Rise Up” (and two subsequent remixes), “I Got” and “Speechless”. His first full-length album is slated for release in 2021.

MVXMILLI, having been born into an intensely musical family, and having been steeped in the habits of Paisley Park’s high achievers, was a multi-instrumentalist by the age of eight. Proximity to the musical and visual artists of Paisley Park caused MVXMILLI to grow up with an appreciation of music, art, design and architecture.

It is this quintessentially Minneapolis mélange of influences which formed the artist who’s now recording and producing as MVXMILLI.

“My music is really about relationships and lifestyle, love and heartbreak and crazy nights. I make music about futures and paths possible”, said MVXMILLI.

“In terms of musical style, I like to bring an indie rock and pop feel to a unique rap flow and with my own production flavor. I’m cool to go with generic rap tropes, and I work hard to bring surprising wordplay and flow that you don’t normally hear. Rappers complain about people biting off their flows and their styles, and I’m like, I never want to be called out for that. I wanna be the one calling people out for that.”
